Final steps & your first microchip scan.

Everything should be ready to go! When the scanner is connected to the hub, the light will be blue and solid. The Active Patients dashboard will look like this at first.

  • Scan a patient's microchip,
  • If the scan shows first name and last name, the microchip was found in the PIMS and the details have now synced with Vedi. Success!
  • If the microchip displays “Not Found,” it means the animal was not in the PIMS.
  • Save the microchip against the patient’s profile in PIMS and click “Resync” in Vedi.
  • If the scan displays “Unknown,” there is a problem with the integration. Please contact support@vedi.io for help.

Creating team member Vedi accounts.

  • Visit https://portal.au.vedi.io/manage-team/invite-code-management
  • Click “Generate New Code”.
  • Each team member should scan the QR code on the screen to create an account.
  • Once their account is created, they can log into the Vedi portal and/or download the Vedi app.
