About

OpenVPMS is a not-for-profit organisation developing open-source veterinary practice software solutions.

In August 2021, OpenVPMS acquired Vertical Connect. The consolidated business – which continues to operate under the name OpenVPMS – now offers a new suite of diverse, feature-rich and cost-efficient products and services.

As part of its hybrid model, OpenVPMS manages the open-source project, source code and community. Vertical Connect provides implementation and support services as well as add-on products to veterinary practices utilising the OpenVPMS software.
