Setup Vedi Hub & Realtrace Scanner using the Vedi App.

Download the Vedi Mobile App

  • Download the Vedi app from the App Store or Google Play on any mobile or clinic device.

Setup the Vedi Hub

The Vedi Hub should be kept as close to the reception as possible. Hubs have a 10-meter connection radius with the Realtrace Scanners.

  • Connect the Vedi Hub to ethernet and power.
    • Look for a wall port, internet modem or server.
    • The ethernet cable can't be plugged into a phone outlet.
  • Wait 30 seconds while the Hub boots.
  • Launch the Vedi App.
  • Tap the Device & Practice Setup button.
  • Follow the instructions to scan for Hubs.
  • Once a Hub is found, tap connect to Hub.
  • Once connected to the Hub, tap ‘Continue’.

Setup the Realtrace Scanner(s)

  • Unpack and turn on the Realtrace Scanner.
  • In the Vedi app (following the Hub setup steps) tap Connect to Scanner.
  • Follow instructions to connect with the Scanner.
  • Once Scanner is found, tap complete & continue.
    • When complete, a code will appear on the screen.
    • Note down or take a screenshot of this code. It’s only active for 24 hours.

Create your Vedi admin user & practice account.

Open your desktop browser to portal.vedi.io

  • On a computer browser, enter the link shown on the Vedi app.
  • Type in the code that you noted down after setting up the scanner.
  • Follow the prompts to finish setting up a Vedi account.
